About Alton Housing Authority

The Alton Housing Authority is committed to providing quality, affordable housing that is decent and safe to eligible families in this community.

Additional Information

Applications for Housing can be picked up from the main office any time Monday - Friday between 8 am - 4:30 pm. They do not mail applications. Applications can be returned on Wednesdays between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. You must provide all of the necessary documentation in order to have your application accepted. For more information, call the office with any questions. To apply for public housing in other cities within Madison County or to apply for Section 8, contact the Madison County Housing Authority at 618-345-5142.
